    Loving Earth Panels exhibition at St Laurence's Church Gallery , Chorley, Lancashire

    Melting Glaciers

    The Loving Earth Project is coming to Chorley, Lancashire and is set to be a beautiful exhibition of 50 panels illustrating all aspects of climate change and its effect on our world. The exhibition will run from 1 to 27 February 2022.

    St Laurence’s Church can be found on the corner of Union Street and Park Road, Chorley PR7 1EB

    The gallery will be open to view the exhibition –

    Tuesdays to Fridays 11.00 to 14.00, Saturdays 13.00 to 16.00 and

    Sundays 12.00 to 15.00.

    Parking is available in the town centre (normally free for 3 hours) or free parking on either side of Park Road. Chorley Railway station is an easy walk away. There are a few disabled parking spaces in the church grounds.

    The church has a small café and shop (limited opening times apply)

    Loving Earth Panels on display in Cambridge

    Loving Earth Panels will be on display at the Michaelhouse Café Art Gallery, on Trinity Street right in the heart of Cambridge city centre from 1 to 26 February 2022. This exhibition is supported by Great St Mary’s, the Cambridge University Church.

    If you are interested in making a panel, please join our online panel making workshop on 15 February, which will be open to all, and please contact us if you’d be interested in an ‘in person’ panel making chat with a small group in Cambridge in the second half of February.     If you’d like to make a loving earth panel – be it your first or another one –  and within reach of Wimbledon Library (hard by Wimbledon station), why not bring your work in progress, ideas, questions etc and join others in an informal chat while we work?  All welcome.
    this won’t be a formal workshop, but we can all help one another. If you haven’t already done so please take a look at our Loving Earth Meditation and guidance on the Resources page of this website.

    We will be holding occasional online chats for people interested in exploring how they might taking the project forward in their area – perhaps organising a panel-making group, exhibitions, events etc. or who would like to discuss other aspects of the project and how it’s affected them – this is the first one, please book via eventbrite.

    Loving Earth Online Panel Making Workshop

    Online workshop for people interested in making a Loving Earth textile panel

    This Zoom event will get you started on making a textile panel , to contribute to this international textile project. All welcome.

    You’ll be invited to do a little preparation in advance of the event though this is not essential.

    If you are just starting out, please look at some of the introductory videos on the Resources page of our website. Do bring any work in progress or complete, and you may want something to write or draw with.

    The meeting will start promptly at 7.00pm.
