The Regular Breathe meditation sessions on Monday evenings invite reflection on spiritual writings from various traditions, and using music, poetry and silence to create space for contemplative connection with the spirit. This short service will follow a common format but each time, we’ll use different music, poems and readings and contemplative practices from various traditions.
100 panels from Loving Earth Project are currently on displaying the Old Crypt at St John’s and this will be an opportunity to reflect more deeply with them.

The Loving Earth Project will be exhibiting a large number of textile panels in the Crypt at St John’s as part of a series of Loving Earth events in London this autumn.
This exhibition will be part of St John’s Exploring Spirit festival, linking up with Black History Month in October, the season of Remembrance and InterFaith Week in November.
An opening event will be held on 19th October. The exhibition will be open on selected weekdays from 9am to 5pm, on Sunday mornings, and on selected evenings, but this will depend on other events at the church.

This event launches the Out of Excuses poetry book and exhibition of textile art, to be held in the Quaker Centre and corridors of Friends House.
A selection of poems from the book will be read by the poets.
Free, but please book your place via Eventbrite in advance .
