Loving Earth Project at Glasgow Quaker Meeting House
38 Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow G2 4PSA selection of textile panels from our international collection will be on display at the Meeting House during COP 26 fortnight.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday 5th till Sunday 7th November inclusive, from 2 till 5pm. All welcome.
The rest of the time those attending other events at the Meeting house users of the Meeting will have the opportunity to see this display. This includes the discussion of issues raised by Loving Earth textile panels, on the evening of 3rd November (at the Meeting House and on Zoom).

Loving Earth exhibition at Gorbals Parish Church
50 panels of the Loving Earth Project will be on display at Gorbals Parish Church in Glasgow from 30 October to 14 November. There will also be LEP workshops on 30 October and 7 November.

Loving Earth panels at Maryhill Burgh Halls
10-24 Gairbraid Avenue Glasgow G20 8YEA selection of Loving Earth Project’s textile panels continues to be on display in the foyer of Maryhill Burgh Hall during COP 26 and in the weeks before it.
Come and see some beautiful textile images in different styles made by a variety of people in around the world, about some of the things they personally love, what needs to happen to avoid damage to them from climate and environmental breakdown, and what the panel- makers are doing to help.
What do you love? You can also add your own contribution to the installation of Loving Earth postcards at Maryhill Burgh Halls.
Free.
Opening times are generally Monday – Friday (10am – 6pm). Please see the Hall website for updates and more details.
Loving Earth exhibition at Scottish Maritime Museum, Dumbarton
The Denny Ship Model Experiment Tank Castle St., Dumbarton G82 1QSA display of Loving Earth panels continues to be on show at the Scottish Maritime Museum in Dumbarton until the end of January 2022.
A series of textile workshops and other events will be organised during the course of the exhibition.
Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm .

Loving Earth Exhibition at Dundee Meeting House
This exhibition at Dundee Quaker Meeting House continues to be open to the general public on Thursdays, through to 4th November.Our Meeting House has only recently been opened and the exhibition will provide an opportunity for Quakers from other parts of Scotland and local people to visit the new space.https://www.quakerscotland.org/dundeeThe Meeting House, 9 Whitehall Crescent, Dundee, DD1 4ARThe building has level access.The display will be open on Thursdays from 12.30 – 4pm. 38 Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow G2 4PSInvited participants from different parts of the world will introduce this evening’s conversation, selecting some Loving Earth panels as a starting pointSpeakers include:Wopicho Apollo, speaking from Uganda where he trains a variety of groups about sustainability, adaptation and mitigation measures and plays a leading role in the Friends Church of Uganda (Quakers)Ed Tyler teaches permaculture in Glasgow and works to create regenerative culture in the Clyde bioregion.Beverley Ward is Field Secretary for Earthcare in the South Eastern Yearly Meeting of Quakers and has a wide range of experience across the Americas. She will be speaking from Florida.This event will be held both on Zoom and at the Glasgow Quaker Meeting House, and is free.
