Flooding in panel makers’ village in Uganda – please donate

There’s been flooding in Uganda, at the Bukaranga village, where  the lives of our friends who made the three Ugandan panels have been turned upside down by the river bursting its banks.

Message from John Lampen:

The easiest way is to donate to Stourbridge Quakers at CAFbank, sort code 40-52-40 account nº 00001638 reference Uganda flood relief.  We can send anything received to Bukangara village, where our friend who organised making the three Uganda LEP panels

writes of

a great sadness to our people along the river and besides the road, they have been affected by floods.

The river burst its banks.  Around 100 households have been affected. They have lost domestic utensils, animals, crops, houses have fallen down. We have been accommodating affected families in our school.”

I know he will use anything given only to help those affected.
